THOUGHTS OR COMMENTS?

I was born and raised in the Salt Lake valley in Utah, and I've lived here my whole life. It was a prime upbringing for developing a dark sense of humor and an eye for the disguise horrors often wear. I earned a BA in Speech-Communications and an MFA in Creative Writing, spending a great deal of time in Advertising, PR, and teaching before pursuing writing professionally.

While I've always loved reading horror, it took a long time before I felt I could actually write in the genre. I was fairly successful writing in other arenas, and I knew many fabulous writers who were exceptional in the horror realm. A number of friends encouraged me, and soon I took the plunge. Once I started, I immersed myself completely. I've always looked at writing as learning to dance with your demons, and that goes double for the horror genre. This has been the most thrilling and rewarding journey of my life, and I'm happy to say it is just beginning!
